Reduce draw calls and optimize textures for game engines
Combine multiple materials into optimized texture atlases without quality loss. Pack UVs, merge textures, and support all major game engines including Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, and more. Perfect for reducing draw calls and improving performance.
Material Combiner is a Blender 5.x addon originally created by Grim-es. Our version is specifically built for Blender 5.x, while the original addon is still actively maintained. It helps reduce draw calls in game engines by combining textures without quality loss and avoiding issues with UV bounds larger than 0–1.
Combining Multiple Materials: Mix diffuse colors with textures and specify both the atlas size and individual texture sizes. Create optimized texture atlases for any game engine.
UV Packing: Pack UVs into selected scale bounds by splitting mesh faces. Compatible with rigged models and preserves skinning data.
Multi-Combining Support: Generate different atlases for different texture types including Normal maps, Specular maps, and other material channels.
Quality Preservation: Combine textures without losing quality or creating UV artifacts. Perfect for optimizing game assets.
Easy to Use: Simple interface in the 3D Viewport side panel. Select materials to include, set texture sizes, and generate atlases with one click.
